History
Managing Director Dermott Mulligan of Ireland Building Energy Rating (IBER)
Qualified with a 2.1 Honours Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Queens University Belfast having secured a Certificate and a Diploma from Letterkenny Institute of Technology.
A vast knowledge of Geothermal Heat Pumps having worked with a reputable Heat Pump supply and install company. Hands on experience from the building and plumbing trade have given us the practical edge advantage over other engineers/assessors.
More recently we have undertaken the design and construction of the first Zero Carbon Bill Free Passive House which is currently under construction at Bundoran, Co. Donegal. We are one of the first Irish designers to learn the complex Passive House Planning Package without assistance. Currently undergoing Passive House training by SEI.
IBER have been up and running since 2007.We were one of the first energy rating businesses set up to carry out Domestic BER and also the first in the area for assessing Commercial BER. We are committed to offering a top quality service where the customer comes first.
