BER Plan
Maximise your profit €€€ – A Rated with IBER’s help at minimal cost!
Have your new development sell ahead of all in its surrounding by achieving an energy efficient build which costs you minimal extra than a conventional build, with a BER plan. IBER has hands on knowledge in the construction industry and renewable sector which is used to your advantage during the design and build process. The following is a typical breakdown of our services;

BER Plan- designed to achieve a target Energy Rating e.g. A1 or B2, for the project with the minimum cost to the developer.
We suggest- new technologies and materials will be discussed to meet your needs.
Provisional Building Energy Rating- Using DEAP software sanctioned by Sustainable Energy Ireland (SEI) to create a (BER) using current building regulation standards for U-Values and the developer’s initial project ideas.
Research- building fabrics and technologies suitable to your project.
Building Energy Rating- is then recalculated using the new building fabrics and technologies suggested.
Estimated cost- will be allocated for each improvement.
Grants- are currently available for developers planning to go beyond the current building regulations which can be discussed.
On site- site visits can be arranged to ensure all works are being carried out correctly which will help achieve good results when Air Tightness Tested.
Testing- Air Tightness Testing must be carried out when the build is complete. Testing at various stages is advisable to ensure a good air infiltration rate which will help the final BER certificate.
IBER is willing to liaise with project architects and engineers to ensuring a hassle free process for the contractor. We will also assist in seeking reputable product brands and where they can be sourced locally to your development.
Attract Buyers/Tenants
As a developer, whether considering to develop a new project or making changes to an existing one, IBER can be there to assist you in achieving a high energy rating for your development to make it more attractive to your potential buyers/tenants.
Reduce CO2 Emissions
With so much emphasis in the media creating awareness of energy conservation and reducing CO2 emissions, the pressure has been placed with manufacturers and developers to take action. Energy rating has played a large role in the sale of electrical items, identifying the low and high-energy efficient products, pushing the manufacturers into developing and producing more efficient electrical items. No doubt it will have the same effect when applied to buildings.
